A batsman has re-joined Kent for the remainder of their Royal London One-Day Cup campaign.
Right-hander Harry Finch originally joined Kent as one of the players which came to the club’s aid during the Covid-stricken 169th Canterbury Cricket Week last July, scoring 115 in Kent’s second innings against former side Sussex.
He was then a part of the Kent Spitfires side which defeated Middlesex at Lord’s to secure a home quarter-final in the Spitfires’ victorious 2021 T20 Blast season.
In total, the 27-year-old made eight appearances for Kent in 2021’s Royal London Cup campaign, scoring 152 runs in seven innings.
He will be available for Kent’s Royal London Cup match against Essex Eagles at Chelmsford on Thursday with all-rounders George Linde, Darren Stevens and Grant Stewart unavailable due to injury.
Kent director of cricket Paul Downton said: “Harry showed last summer that he's capable of making contributions to the team when called upon.
“We’re pleased to welcome him back to Kent to bolster our squad for the remainder of this tournament.”
