THE Canterbury and District Angling Association’s fly tying classes begin on Wednesday, February 9, for nine weekly sessions and there are spare places for absolute beginners.
A preliminary class will be held on February 2 by way of an introduction to the intricacies of tying flies.
All the necessary equipment and materials are provided and further information can be obtained from Nelson Stringer on 01227 471628.
The cost for the eight weekly classes is £25 with three patterns of different flies being tied each evening.
The classes are held at the associations’ headquarters at 14 Mill Road Sturry and are from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
