Canterbury's Mel Clewlow has been named in Great Britain's women's hockey squad for the Beijing Olympics.
The 32-year-old defender is part of a 16-strong squad which will face group matches against Germany, Argentina, Japan, New Zealand and the USA.
Dover-born Clewlow is the most capped player in the party, having chalked up 171 appearances for England plus another 71 for GB since making her international debut in 1996.
She was part of the GB team which competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and also appeared in three World Cups. Earlier this month she helped GB win the Setanta Trophy in Dublin where they beat Germany, their first opponents in Beijing, 4-1.
