Canterbury produced a dominant second-half display to earn a 25-14 victory over Henley in National League 3 South.

The victory was spearheaded by full-back Gert De Kock who scored all his side's points after the interval - two tries, two conversions and a penalty goal. Together with a first half penalty success his personal haul came to 20.

Canterbury had opened the scoring through centre Ben Thomas but the celebrations had hardly ended before Henley struck back with a try from flanker Stean Williams which Danny Wells converted.

Visiting full-back Dave Birtwistle then went over for a score which Wells converted and Canterbury's only reply before the break was a De Kock penalty.

Canterbury carried the battle to Henley after the break with De Kock edging them in front 15-14 when he kicked the conversion to go with his opening try of the afternoon.

Soon after De Kock collected another three points from a penalty and the elusive South African then completed the scoring with his second try which he also coverted.
