CANTERBURY Hockey Club duo Mel Clewlow and Frances Houslop have been named in the England women’s squad for the European Nations Cup in Dublin.

The pair are part of an 18-strong squad who will face Germany, the Ukraine and Scotland in their pool matches.

Holland, Spain, Ireland and France make up the other group in the tournament, which runs from August 14 to 20.

Clewlow, who came out of international retirement earlier this year, has 182 caps to her name with fellow defender Houslop on 80.
