KENT have awarded a benefit to England all-rounder Mark Ealham for the 2003 season. The 32-year-old has won 64 one-day international caps for England since making his county debut in 1989.
Ealham, from Ashford, is the son of former Kent captain Alan who was regarded as one of the best fielders in the game and on his day an exciting, big-hitting batsman.
This year’s beneficiary Martin McCague has selected Kent Spitfires' home clash with Worcestershire as his designated benefit match.
The former England paceman will receive the net gate proceeds from the match to be played at the St Lawrence at Canterbury on Sunday, July 14.
