KENT'S fixtures for the 2006 season have been released.

They begin their Liverpool Victoria County Championship season against Durham at St Lawrence on Wednesday, April 19.

The Mote in Maidstone has been pulled from the fixture list so Tunbridge Wells will one host an extra match against Ireland in the C & G Trophy on May 29.

Festival week at The Nevill also sees the visit of Warwickshire in the county championship and another C & G Trophy match against Sussex.

The St Lawrence ground has also been chosen to host England A v Pakistan on July 6, which is the tourists' last warm-up match ahead of the first Test against England.
