GOLF enthusiasts have a chance to watch one of the world’s greatest trickshot exponents in action later this month when Paul Barrrington visits Canterbury Golf Club.
Barrington, aka ‘The Striker’ was World Golf trickshot champion in 2005 and runner-up 12 months later.
The 35-year-old will be at Scotland Hills on Saturday, November 10 to help officially open their new golf driving range and academy, which has been built at a cost of around £300,000.
Barrington, who turned pro in 1992, is capable of swinging the club at 143mph and has twice been British long driving champion.
His longest recorded drive was measured at 440yards while his longest hit from a kneeling position went 308yards. He has also hit a ball 303 yards playing left-handed and 301 yards with a putter.
