Sam Billings became the latest victim of Kent's injury-ridden start to the season on Thursday.
The 27-year-old Spitfires captain was making his first appearance of the summer in the Royal London One-Day Cup tie at Glamorgan after returning from Indian Premier League duty.
But Billings injured his shoulder fielding in the first over of Glamorgan's innings and left the field after receiving lengthy treatment.

The injury will make Billings a major doubt for England's forthcoming matches against Ireland on May 3 and a T20I versus Pakistan on May 5.
Kent were already without vice-captain Joe Denly against Glamorgan after he injured his back while batting in Tuesday's defeat to Gloucestershire, in which he scored 56 from 69 deliveries.
It had marked Denly's first appearance of the campaign on the back of returning from his spell in the IPL.
Head coach Matt Walker said: "It's extremely disappointing for us and extremely disappointing for him.
"He looked so good in the middle (against Gloucestershire) and then twinged his back on about 20 or 30, got through the rest of his batting but as soon as he got out it just seized up and he was just unable to take to the field.
"It's a case of the walking wounded at the moment and people having to really dig deep.
"It is what it is, we aren't the only team to go through something like this, it's just one of those things. We've just got to scrap for our lives."
Billings was named in the Spitfires team against Glamorgan in the place of Sean Dickson while Matt Renshaw was also available again after missing out through injury on Tuesday. Fred Klaassen comes back into the side and Ollie Robinson drops out.
Kent are also without Daniel Bell-Drummond, Darren Stevens, Ivan Thomas and Calum Haggett, although the latter is playing as a batsman-only for the 2nd XI this week.
