Pakistani all-rounder Azhar Mahmood and opener Joe Denly have both been awarded their county caps after fine starts to the season.

Mahmood, who joined Kent from Surrey, excelled in the Twenty20 Cup and has already proven to be a great addition in all forms of the game.

Denly, who made his Kent debut in 2004, has already represented the England Lions and has established himself at the top of the order in all competitions.

Both players received their caps from Rob Key on day three of our Championship match with Yorkshire at Canterbury.
