Kent captain Rob Key has been penalised under the ECB's disciplinary code for an act of dissent during the Leicestershire game last week.
Key was reported to authorities by umpires Steve O’Shaughnessy and David Millns for a Level 2 breach - showing serious dissent against a decision by words or action - during the LV County Championship Division 2 clash.
The skipper - who has dropped himself for this week's visit of Glamorgan as he bids to rediscover his form with the bat - was visibly frustrated with several decisions during the four days and sought a meeting with officials after the third day's play.
Key, who turns 36 on Tuesday, gets three points on his licence which will remain in place for two years, with any accumulation of nine or more points in a two-year spell meaning a suspension.
