Key may miss MCC opener

KEY: continuing shoulder problem
KEY: continuing shoulder problem

KENT skipper Rob Key, selected to play for the MCC against the champion county at Lord’s in a four-day opener to the first-class season starting on Friday, may withdraw.

He feels his shoulder is still not strong enough to throw in the field, although perfectly fine for batting.

He sees no reason why he will not start the season for Kent.
