Lockley Bower to face Field in final

Lockley Bower are through to the Senior Section final of the Faversham Charity Cup after beating Courtenay Rangers 2-1 on Sunday.

Stacy Davis and Darren Abbott scored the goals for Lockley with Jason Mills replying.

Bower’s opponents will be Field who edged out Waterfront 3-2. Julian Beal, John Cooper and Neil White netted for Field, while an own goal and Dan Alton goal kept the game close.

In the Challenge Cup, Cross Keys proved their worth by beating Bay Wanderers. Goals from Andy Haywood (2) and Darren Little ensured victory with Louis Brister netting Bay’s consolation.
