Canterbury Rugby Club moved into the top half of the National League 3 table on Saturday when they beat Bridgwater and Albion 27-11 at Merton Lane ro record their fourth successive victory.
Three first-half tries set up their latest victory, the first coming from Andy Pratt after Stuart Evans had kicked a penalty to put Bridgwater ahead.
Mike Melford and Pat Sykes both also went over before half-time and with Gert De Kock adding two conversions Canterbury led 19-3.
Bridgwater No 8 Dave Kimblerley then went over to cut the deficit to eight with De Kock and Evans each then kicking a penalty to leave the half time score 22-11.
Canterbury wrere quickly on the attack in the second half but although Melford ghosted through for his second try of the afternoon they were unable to add to their tally, having prop Matt Pinnick sinbinned late on.
