Canterbury 53 North Walsham 7
THERE was a carnival atmosphere at Merton Lane for Canterbury's final match of the season as the city club proved just how far they have come this season.
On the opening day last year, Canterbury were beaten by North Walsham, but they cemented a fourth-place finish in National 3 South by dispatching the same opposition with a sparkling display on Saturday.
Canterbury enjoyed near total control, especially in the second half, and an Andy Pratt hat-trick and tries from Rowan O'Gorman, Nicky Woodbridge, Mike Melford, Carlton Littlechild and Wessel Woolmarans completed a 53-7 rout.
