MARTIN SAGGERS says winning the County Championship with Kent and taking 500 first-class wickets remain two personal targets he still wants to achieve in his career.
The 35-year-old seam bowler has signed a two-year deal with the club to end speculation about his future.
Saggers has 381 victims to date, 333 with them for Kent at 24 each in a career spanning nine seasons, since moving from Durham in 1999.
He said: "I am very happy and delighted to stay because I am very settled."
Recalled by Kent, Saggers ended the season in good form taking 19 wickets, including 5-43 against Lancashire.
He added: "I’d love to help Kent win the County Championship, and it would be at ultimate personal goal."
Saggers will spend two months in South Africa this winter training and preparing for next season.
