Chaucer Technology School’s under-12 team enjoyed an experience of a lifetime, playing in front of 50,000 fans at Twickenham.

The school reached the final of the Daily Express Emerging Schools Rugby Festival – which was played at the home of rugby during the half-time interval in the annual Babcock Trophy game between the Army and Navy.

They faced Woodbridge School, Farlingaye, who proved too powerful, running in three tries in 10 minutes to take the title.
