SOFTBALL clubs in East Kent are offering newcomers the chance to try the sport.
Canterbury Mets, who have two players who have represented Great Britain, need men and women to strengthen their squad.
Plenty of equipment and advice is available, and the club play in local evening games as well as weekend tournaments.

Ash Softball Club begin evening training sessions on Tuesday, April 8, starting at 6.30pm, at Ash Recreation Ground, Queens Road.

The 2002 national champions, Pioneers, can offer top quality softball, with many GB players in their ranks.
The Pioneers’ first competition of the season will be the Kent First Ball on Sunday, April 27, at St Anselm’s School Canterbury.
