SPONSORS are being sought for an event which will bring together around 800 of the county’s youngest runners.

The Kent junior schools’ cross-country championships will be held at the University of Kent at Canterbury on Saturday, March 6.

Races will be held for girls and boys in eight age groups, and sponsors are being offered the chance to put their name to a race for a charge of £125.

The event will be hosted by the city’s Kent College junior school. Anyone interested in sponsorship is asked to contact Cath Carter on 01227 762436.
