Guru Nanak 0 Canterbury City 4

CANTERBURY CITY made it three wins in a row to lead the Vandanel Kent County League Division 1 East table with an impressive display at Guru Nanak on Saturday.

City’s joy was tempered by the sending off of acting captain, Luke Lockhart, together with a home player, for violent conduct but with eight first-team players missing, including strikers Wayne Fittall, Dan Bonneywell and last season’s top scorer Royston Gough, boss Dave Fairclough would have been pleased with his side’s display.

Harry Gower (2), Scott Lawford and Ashley Tuite were the scorers.

City are at home to AFC Sheppey on Saturday.
