Having come so close to winning three domestic one-day titles this summer, a season of "ifs" and "what ifs" saw Rob Key's Kent side relegated to division 2 of the county championship for the first time ever on Saturday.

To rub salt into the wounds, opponents Durham were able to celebrate winning their first ever championship title at the same time.
