The men, both aged 23, appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday (September 6). They were remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on October 4.

The men were arrested at around 10pm on Monday (September 4) after police spotted a Ford Kuga being driven in Gravesend town centre in a manner that raised concerns.

The officers followed the vehicle onto the A2 towards London and asked the driver to stop in Station Road, Belvedere.

The men left on foot but were detained. Cocaine deals, four mobile phones and around £10,000 in cash was seized.

The Ford Kuga was later identified as having been stolen in London on August 19.
