An 86-year-old motorcyclist died last night after he was involved in a crash on the A20 in Farningham.

The man was travelling along the busy road from West Kingsdown to Farningham just after 8pm when he hit a lamppost.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the crash. The bike was the only vehicle involved in the collision.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
