Victim of A20 crash near Swanley Interchange named at inquest

A man who died after a serious crash on the A20 has been named.

Passenger Wladyslaw Demeter was travelling in a white Kia Rio when it collided with a barrier at around 6.55am on Wednesday, August 23.

The 41-year-old, who was from Poland, died at the scene which happened just after the Swanley Interchange on the London-bound carriageway.

Police and paramedics attended and a second passenger was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

An inquest opening into Mr Demeter’s death heard he suffered multiple traumatic injuries.

A full inquest will be heard on November 30 at County Hall.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are carrying out inquiries and are also urging witnesses and anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
