The A20 has now reopened in both directions after a high-speed chase ended in two police cars being damaged.

It comes after Metropolitan Police officers chased a car that had reportedly failed to stop at 3.25am today.

They stopped it on the A20 at Wrotham Heath, but two police cars and the car that was being chased were damaged.

Those in the car were held by officers and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
