Traffic ground to a halt in both directions on the A2 due to an overturned vehicle.

Emergency services were called to the incident from A2018 Old Bexley Lane (Dartford Heath) to M25 J2 (Darenth Interchange) yesterday evening.

At least three fire engines, ambulance and police have been reported to be dealing with the incident.

The road reopened at around 2.30am.
