Air ambulance called to Common Lane, Wilmington, after girl hit by car

The air ambulance was called and a girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car near a school.

Officers and paramedics were sent to Common Lane, Wilmington, Dartford, at around 2.23pm to reports of a collision.

The air ambulance landed at nearby Wilmington Academy and were joined by ambulance crews.

A girl was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley by road.

The age of the victim and her injures aren't known yet.
