Appeal after arson attack on house

DETECTIVES investigating a late-night arson attack on a house are keen to identify two men.
The porch of the house was set alight, causing considerable damage. The owner was inside but was not injured.
The incident, in Mill Road, Dartford, occurred on September 1 at about 10.15pm.
The men police want to question are described as white and in their mid 20s. One is between 5ft 6in and 5ft 8in tall, of stocky build with short fair hair. The second man was 5ft 10 inches tall, of slim build with dark hair.
Police have issued an e-fit of one of the men in the hope that this will assist people in recognising him.
Both men were seen in the area between midnight on Thursday, August 31, and 12.30am on Friday, September 1.
Det Sgt Tom Duff, the officer investigating the arson, said: "Clearly this incident had the potential to be very serious and I would urge anyone who has information about this to contact the police as soon as possible."
