Police issue images of suspected stolen items after a series of burglaries in Dartford

Officers investigating a series of burglaries have issued pictures of suspected stolen items they would like to return to their owners.

The images have been published after a series of burglaries in the Dartford area.

People are being asked to check whether they recognise any of the items, which include valuable power tools, computer equipment and a distinctive hip flask.

This hip-flask is also thought to have been stolen (6336171)

They were recovered on Friday after a suspicious vehicle was stopped by police in Green Street Green Road, in connection with a number of recent break-ins to sheds and outbuildings.

A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of possessions, which included a silver coloured hip flask, a Toshiba laptop contained within a red Superdry case and a DeWalt circular saw.

A box of fishing equipment, as well as a disc wallet containing 16 computer games, a pair of binoculars and clothing were among other items which were seized.

Four men who were in the vehicle were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently on bail, pending further inquiries, until Wednesday, January 23.
