Police stop cars in Dartford and charge two men with drug dealing

A pair of suspected cocaine dealers have appeared in court after police stopped two cars in Dartford.

Police in the Pinewood Close area of the town spotted two parked cars suspected to be involved in drug dealing.

Cash, five mobile phones and cocaine worth about £14,000 were reportedly seized by officers after a search of both vehicles.

Andrew Dean, 30, of Iris Drive, Sittingbourne and Julian Warrick, also 30-years-old, of Regent Square, Belvedere have been charged with conspiring to supply a Class A substance.

Warrick was also charged with acquiring criminal property relating to the cash alleged to have been found in one of the vehicles.

The two men appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday and were remanded in custody.

They are scheduled to next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on April 21.
