Brands Hatch: homeless Honey is looking for a home as she marks two years at Battersea

For some dogs being rehomed is a piece of cake.
For little Honey, this party is one she never wanted.
It's been two long years since adorable Honey was brought into Battersea at Brands Hatch - and the caring staff at the home held a "do" to mark the occasion.
Honey is an eight-year-old Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua who has been at Battersea Brands Hatch for two whole years watching her kennelmates find new homes.
Last year alone, 359 other animals found loving owners... but not Honey.
Being a cross, she has the enthusiasm of a Jack Russell Terrier and the sensitive side of a Chihuahua.
Honey is looking for a patient new owner who will let her take the lead when she's feeling uncomfortable.
They will need to take the time to get to know her as at times she lacks confidence.
Anna Hemming, Centre Manager at Battersea Brands Hatch, said: “Honey is very sweet with a bit of an anxious side but we all know once she’s comfortable in her environment, she can be very lively and energetic!
"Ideally she’s looking for someone who lives in a quiet rural area where she has the freedom to roam around in peace.
“Honey has spent two long years with us at Brands Hatch.
"As lovely as it is seeing her every day and seeing the improvement from her specialised training we provide her, we all just really want Honey to go to a good home."
