Blue Square Bet South title race not over yet, says Dartford boss Tony Burman

Tony Burman isn’t conceding the Blue Square Bet South title to Woking just yet but admits it will be a "difficult ask" to stop them now.

The Dartford boss (pictured) takes his side to fellow play-off contenders Sutton United on Saturday, knowing one more win will secure them runners-up spot behind their Surrey rivals, but asked if he was preparing for matches in the hope of still winning the title or preparing for the play-offs, Burman said: "both."

He added: "It’s unlikely Woking will lose all their remaining three games, they have been brilliant this season. It’s still not over but realistically it’s going to be a difficult ask.

"We have got three tough games left ourselves which we want to win. "We need three points to secure second place, while Sutton have all but secured their play-off place. They will probably be looking for revenge after we put six past them last month."

Danny Harris misses the Sutton game with a one match ban, while Dagenham loanee Luke Wilkinson will be ruled out of the home game against Boreham Wood on Saturday week and the Kent Senior Cup final against Hythe at Princes Park three days later, after seeing red against Chelmsford on Saturday.
