A jeweller in Bluewater is giving away free jewellery this Thursday – but only if your name is Kate or William.
To celebrate the Duke and Duchess' 10-year wedding anniversary, Beaverbrooks, which has a store in the Greenhithe shopping centre, will give the first person to prove they share the name with one of the royals a £100 gift card.
All Kate and William namesakes will have to do is be the first person to come into store on Thursday, April 29 and show suitable identification to a member of staff.
The jeweller will be handing out thousands of pounds worth of gift cards throughout the day at its stores across the UK, but with a limited number available, it is advising people to be quick.
Store manager Candi Hubbard said: "Kate and William's special day was the most talked about wedding of the century.
"Celebrating 10 years of marriage is such a brilliant milestone, so what better way to celebrate than by giving away £100 worth of jewellery to namesakes of the special couple?"
It comes as Bluewater welcomes new brands as shoppers return after restrictions were lifted last week.
New stores include sleep-smart brand Sleep 8, kitchenware and cookware retailer ProCook and fashion brand Moyenne which has launched a pop-up shop.
Watchmaker Swatch has moved to the Upper Rose Gallery with a market stall-inspired design offering more than 300 different watches, and Nespresso has also moved to a new home close to their original location.
The new additions follow in the footsteps of other arrivals that joined the centre's line-up just before lockdown, including Hamleys, Wingstop, Slim Chickens and Greggs.
Bluewater is also now home to the only John Lewis store in Kent.
The Zara store also expanded just before lockdown, upsizing to two floors and introducing Zara Home – creating the brand's first UK concept store of its kind.
Senior centre director Robert Goodman said: "As guests return after lockdown, they will notice some exciting changes and new names that have joined the line-up here at Bluewater.
"We've been working hard behind the scenes to bring on board new brands whilst enhancing our leisure offering, giving people even more reasons to visit Bluewater.
"Alongside the new arrivals we are carefully curating a calendar of events including Luna Cinema, which has already proved popular.
"Both retail and leisure space is still very much in demand here at Bluewater and we have plenty more brands and events yet to be announced – watch this space."
Next month, Bluewater will also welcome England's longest and fastest zip wire – Hangloose Adventure Bluewater.
The visitor attraction is more than 700m long and will be set amongst 50 acres of parkland.
