A car has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack.

Firefighters were called to Court Road, Dartford, just before 4am this morning.

The car was at the side of the road and there was no sign of the owner when the crew arrived.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said the car was destroyed in the blaze.

Police have been informed.
