Students’ creative work is being captured on camera to help babies get the best start in life.
Female barber students will today take part in a photo calendar shoot with volunteer male models in a bid to raise money for a hospital charity.
The girls will set about their challenge at North Kent College’s Gravesend campus, setting hairstyles and face make-up, all themed around film and theatre, including Jekyll and Hyde, Phantom of the Opera and Grease.
Money raised will go to the Little Buds fund, which supports the special care baby unit at Darent Valley Hospital.
Student Caz Smith, 32, of York Road, Gravesend said: “We’re both nervous and excited but it’s all for a good cause.”
