Black bin bags, wood, rubble and what appears to be a set of drawers were left down the road, leaving it difficult to travel down.

Country lanes in Kent have been blocked by fly-tipping on several occasions in recent weeks.

Last week, a road in Hartley had to be shut after more than 20 bin bags, rubble, tiles and empty water bottles were fly-tipped down it.

Shortly before, cardboard boxes and black sacks stretching along “five car lengths” were dumped in Three Gates Road in Longfield.

The blockage left residents facing a diversion around the lanes of more than one and half miles, according to one resident.

Sevenoaks District Council has been contacted for comment.
