A crash between a car and a motorbike on a busy junction blocked two main Dartford routes for several hours.

Emergency services were called to Princes Road where it meets Heath Lane at about 9.15 this morning (Thursday).

The motorcyclist, a man thought to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital with leg and arm injuries, as was the woman in the car, although her injuries are thought to be minor.

The crash blocked the Crayford-bound stretch of Princes Road and closed Heath Lane in both directions. Fire crews, who helped paramedics with the casualties, left by about 10.30am but said at that stage the roads were still closed.
