Police have teamed up with local councils to tackle organised crime.
A training event was held in Princes Park, Dartford, on Tuesday, December 4, which was attended by staff from both Gravesham and Dartford council.
Employees from the fire and rescue service and the Department for Work and Pensions were also part of the 80 people who attended.
Training was given out on key issues surround serious and organised crime, including money laundering, modern day slavery, gangs and county lines drug issues.
People then discussed the problems to have a greater understanding to be able to work more effectively with police.
Organiser of the event Inspector Gavin Wade said: "This was a successful event which not only helped to refresh people’s expertise on these issues, but also helped to educate others in how they can effectively work with police and other partner agencies to help tackle these issues within their community.
"We take these issues seriously across Kent and training events with partners is invaluable as it helps to ensure that any incidents are dealt with and managed as effectively as possible."
