Dartford striker Allan Tait says there is more to come from him after netting his first Princes Park goal

Allan Tait has promised Dartford fans there is much more to come after he scored his first goal at Princes Park on Tuesday night.
Tait netted the opener in Dartford’s 2-0 Ryman League Premier Division win as the hosts extended their lead at the top of the table to 11 points.
The striker, who signed from Eastbourne Borough in the close season, is desperate to maintain his place in the starting line-up.
"It was nice to get the goal," said Tait. "It was a scrappy game but once we went ahead we were in control.
"I want to stay in the team and kick on. The more games I play, then the sharper I will get.
"People need to get used to me. They haven’t seen anything from me yet and hopefully they haven’t judged too soon.
"I’ve done reasonably well everywhere I have been and I want to kick on here.
"It’s been frustrating but the team are scoring goals and winning games so I have to bide my time – I know that."
With striker Rob Haworth ruled out for a week through a rib injury, Tait grabbed his chance by scoring only his second goal for the Darts.
He will hope to keep his place for the FA Trophy first qualifying round tie at Sittingbourne on Saturday.
