One of the tunnels at the Dartford crossing has been closed following a crash.

Traffic is returning to normal again after queues started building on the anticlockwise M25 and the A2 at the Darenth Interchange.

Two lanes have reportedly closed through the left hand tunnel due to an earlier accident at about 5.30pm.

The right hand tunnel remained open between junction 1a for Dartford and junction 31 for Lakeside and Purfleet.

Traffic was flowing again by 6.15pm.
