Dartford have announced that defender Tom Bonner and midfielder Tom Champion are leaving Princes Park to join full-time clubs.

The pair were integral members of the Darts side which shone in Blue Square Bet Premier this season and their performances have earned them the chance to play professional football in 2013-14.

Dartford boss Tony Burman said: “Despite making offers to Tom Bonner (pictured) and Tom Champion, they have advised that they will both be accepting full-time offers from other clubs.

“Whilst naturally disappointed that they wish to move on, I want to place on record my sincere thanks to them both for the part they have played in our rise to the Football Conference and I am sure everyone at the club will join me in wishing them the best of luck in the future.”

Bonner, 25, formed a fine partnership with Mark Arber in the centre of Dartford’s defence. He played 44 times for Burman’s side last season and memorably scored in their 2-0 win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Champion made 42 league appearances. He spent most of the season in central midfield but also proved an able deputy in defence.

The news follows Burman’s decision to release goalkeeper Louis Wells and striker Jacob Erskine.

Ryan Hayes, Danny Harris, Lee Noble and Lee Burns, meanwhile, have all signed new contracts to keep them at the club for another season.
