Traffic is queuing on the A2 after a lorry crash.

Drivers are expected to face up to 30 minutes of delays near Dartford until around 1pm following the incident at around 10.30am.

Traffic can be seen queuing on the eastbound carriageway of the A2. Picture: National Highways

One lane of the eastbound carriageway, between the junctions with the A2018 for Dartford Heath and the M25 Junction 2, Dareth Interchange, has been closed.

National Highways expects the event to be cleared at around 1pm, but told motorists to expect delays.

It is thought a lorry has hit the central barrier.
