Delays anticlockwise on the M25 between Junction 3 for Swanley and Junction 2 for Dartford

Two lanes were shut on the M25 due to a broken-down lorry with a gearbox issue.

Motorists heading anti-clockwise between Junction 3 for Swanley and Junction 2 for Dartford are affected as delays remain following the closure of lanes three and four.

National Highways traffic officers are at the scene, where there are three miles of congestion.

There are approximately 20 minutes of delays.

The route has now reopened but delays remain in the area due to other ongoing incidents which include a police-led incident on the A282.
