All lanes have been re-opened following a crash on the A2.

Traffic was temporarily held following the collision, in the London-bound carriageway, at the turn off for Northfleet and Ebbsfleet near Bluewater shopping centre.

Police were called to the scene at around 6.30pm.

All lanes reopened at around 7.55pm.

Traffic was also reportedly building in the opposite carriageway due to people slowing down to look at the aftermath of the accident.

Kent Police said: "We were called at 6.28pm to a report of a collision between a car and a motorbike on the A2 London-bound.

"Officers attended the scene alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service. The motorcyclist was treated for minor injuries."
