Detectives investigating after a body was found at a house have again appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Police were called to the property in Oakfield Lane in Dartford last Thursday morning where a man in his 40s was found dead.
The force said he had been stabbed.
A murder investigation was initially launched after another man in his 40s was arrested and taken into custody.
But he was released the following day while detectives continue inquiries to try to work out how the victim died.
Officers say a key time window between 8.30pm last Wednesday to 9am the following day is critical to their investigation.
Investigators have urged anyone travelling along Oakfield Lane between those times to share what could be vital information.
Spokesman Sally Smith said: "Detectives are particularly keen to obtain video footage from passing vehicles and cyclists that capture the scene between these times.
"Any item that may appear innocuous to a member of the public could be of vital importance for detectives."
The investigation was launched after police were called at 8.18am on Thursday, May 14.
The body was found in a passageway at the property, a large detached house.
Forensic teams were at there for most of the day gathering evidence in bags and boxes.
