Armed police and dog unit spotted in Keyes Road, Dartford

Emergency services, including armed police, were seen storming a residential street amid concerns for a distressed man.

Officers from the police, ambulance and fire service were spotted in Keyes Road, Dartford, at around 11.20am.

Conner Ravenscroft witnessed police descend on Blake Gardens.

He said: "There was 12 police cars an ambulance and a fire engine as well as armed police.

"I was unsure what was going on, but they took a man into the ambulance."

Police confirmed officers they called amid concerns for a distressed man at an address.

A spokesman said: "Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and, after speaking to the man, there were no further concerns for his welfare."

A fire service spokesman added: "We assisted Kent Police with an incident on Blake Gardens in Dartford at around 11.28am today and we left just after 1pm."
