Police were called to an A2 slip road in the early hours of this morning.

A car had overturned on the slip road to Wilmington at about 1am.

On arrival, officers found the driver had fled the scene.

The road was closed while the car was recovered.

Firefighters from Dartford attended the scene as a precaution due to a fuel link.
