Fire crews rescued a driver trapped in a car after a single-vehicle crash this morning.

Firefighters were called to the A2 London-bound near the Pepperhill turn-off, at Southfleet at just after 8.30am.

Two fire engines attended and crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to free one person trapped inside, who was passed into the care of ambulance staff.
