London duo charged after burglary in Station Road, Longfield

Two Londoners have been charged with burglary after a store cigarettes were stolen from a store.

Gary O'Brien, 26, of London Road, Tooting, and Alex Parle, 27, of Adams Green Esstate, Rotherhithe, were arrested on Sunday after failing to stop for police.

Two men have been charged after a burglary in Longfield

Officers were called to a shop in Station Road, Longfield, just before midnight to reports two men had forced their way into it and stolen a bag of cigarettes.

Police arrived and identified a suspect vehicle nearby, which failed to stop before colliding with a police car.

O'Brien and Parle were charged today with burglary and aggravated vehicle taking, while Parle was additionally charged with being in possession of a knife.

Both were remanded to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court today.
