Fire crews called to Bean High Street, near Dartford, after electrical fault starts fire

Firefighters had to tackle a late night blaze caused by an electrical fault.

Three engines were sent to Bean High Street, near Dartford, to reports of a fire in a commerical property.

It happened at around 11.40pm and crews tackled the blaze with two hose reel jets and breathing apparatus.

They managed to extinguish the fire from the rear of the building.

There were no reported injuries and they left the scene in just under an hour.
